The various enemies the game throws at the player made my flesh crawl, and so blowing their heads off was incredibly satisfying. The available weapons and RPG-style levelling make for great gameplay. The Switch's motion controls lend themselves well here and for the most part the game feels responsive. The game runs smooth with a unique cell-shaded look. Having completed it as Mordecai I plan to revisit the game and try some of the other playable characters, but I will probably move onto Borderlands 2 first. It took me a little while to get started, but once I got into it I was hooked and couldn't put it down until the credits rolled at the end.
